Synopsis

Five true stories of great victories of Russian athelets. All the victories are human stories, where love, betrayal,
friendship, respect, work and faith are interwined in one. The stories about believing in yourself, believing in victory.
Famous soviet biathlonist Nikolay Kruglov (two-time Olimpic champion, three-time World champion) can give
everything for the love of his son Nikolay Kruglov Jr. (Olympic silver medalist in 2006, a four-time World champion).
Cause the hapiness of the family costs more than a gold. The big star of figure skating Elena Bereghnaya suffer a
serious injury, leaving her partly paralyzed and unable to speak. She recovered rapidly only because of her closest
person and partner — Anton Sikharulidze. And after all they got Olimpic gold medal in Solt Lake City in 2002.
Young snowboarder Ekaterina Ilyukhina (Olympic silver medalist in 2010) was in a fight with her personal fears,
but won the snowboard competition and got historicaly first olimpic medal for Russia in this sport. Famous hockey
player Ilya Kovalchuk (two-time World champion) has gone through a period of failures, but threw two crucial
goals in the gate of powerful Canadian hockey team. Speed skater Svetlana Zhurova (two-time World champion,
Olimpic gold champion in 2006) has gone the whole hog despite all the bad rumors about herself and won!
All these stories are real victories of the strongest people.
